  1. Hi Jeff… I had to leave a response to your article regarding Firehouse Subs Restaurant once I saw the clip on Local 10. I have stopped dining at all Firehouse Subs Restaurants a while ago, since I received food poisoning from 2 Firehouse Subs Restaurants… the location in Plantation on University Drive, and the location in Tamarac/Lauderhill on the corner of Commercial Blvd and University Drive about a year or so later. One location I purchased a tuna sub, and the other was a steak and cheese sub. I am not surprised a bit by your report regarding the cleanliness of these restaurants, and also that they didn’t keep meats at proper temperatures. While I’m not sure if these are what caused me to become ill after eating at these restaurants, I do know that I wouldn’t ever chance it again. Thanks for your great reporting. I love watching the Dirty Dining reports.
