Sea For Yourself

Florida seafood products are being harvested from Gulf waters that are unaffected by the oil spill. Seafood markets and restaurants throughout Florida are selling and serving safe and wholesome Florida seafood products.

To help promote public awareness about the availability of Florida seafood, webcams have been placed at several seafood harvesting, processing and retail sales locations around the state to show that “Florida is in business.”   The seafood establishments being featured are located in the Panhandle Gulf Coast region:  Pensacola, Santa Rosa Beach, Tallahassee, Destin and St. George Island. The webcams are operational only during normal business hours for each establishment. Some cameras might be turned off at the time you are viewing. If so, please visit again during the establishment’s business hours to view the webcam activity.

  1. Thank you for the information. I for one, purchase seafood periodically and still frequent seafood restaurants and have had no problems or have felt a need worry about our seafood quality.

As long as people purchase seafood at reputable places there is nothing to worry about.
