Observed rodent activity as evidenced by 150+ fresh rodent droppings found in the kitchen. 70 + fresh droppings observed under grill, 50+ fresh droppings observed on kitchen shelves and under prep tables, 25+ on kitchen floors.” Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation

“Critical. Required consumer advisory for raw/undercooked animal food not provided. Corrected On Site.”          

“Critical. Hot holding equipment incapable of maintaining potentially hazardous food at proper temperatures. pastry box.”

“Critical. Observed improper vertical separation of raw animal foods and ready-to-eat foods.”

“Critical. Hand wash sink lacking proper hand drying provisions. Corrected On Site.”

“Critical. No proof of required employee training provided. All public food service establishments must provide the division with proof of employee training upon request, including, but not limited to, at the time of any division inspection of the establishment.”

 No one at El Tio would talk to Local 10 about their recent inspection.
